 Through its affiliation with the world-renowned Lahey Clinic in Burlington, Massachusetts, Mercy's patients have direct access to world-class cardiac procedures including open heart surgery, coronary bypass surgery, angioplasty and catheterization. The Lahey Clinic was recognized as one of the top 100 cardiovascular hospitals in the country by Solucient, a health information company, and has been ranked by U.S. News & World Report magazine as having one of the best cardiovascular programs in the United States.
The collaboration between physicians who work at both Mercy Medical Center and Lahey Clinic started in advanced cardiac care. However, this relationship will evolve to include other services which might include transplantation, interventional neuroradiology, and colon and rectal surgery.
