Structural Heart Disease Program
Contact UsThe term structural heart disease refers to a change in the heart’s anatomy or “structure.” These problems may be present at birth (congenital), occur with aging or there may be an underlying disease that causes wear and tear on the structures of the heart.
The Structural Heart Program at Saint Francis Hospital, the flagship of Trinity Health Of New England, brings together interventional cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, imaging cardiologists, electrophysiologists, and specialized nurses as a multidisciplinary Heart Team. We offer minimally invasive, catheter-based therapies for valve and structural heart disease, performed in our cardiac catheterization laboratory.
